How do you....

Get your human's to do your bidding? We've tried the Queen Meeshka's tactic of using the claw and the AO4's tactic of looking adorable. We've tried speaking Khyraese, but NOTHING is working! We just can't make her keep up with our blog and all our blogging buds! The only bidding she's doing is on the Ram-a-Lamb bag in the MaPaw auction on Ebay! This is getting completely ridiculous, and we're fed up with it, so it's mutiny on the RHP Bounty.

We know we have lots of awards that were given to us, but she won't get on the 'puter so we can acknowledge them, but we promise we will get to it.

We also know that we've been promising pics of our new & improved den, and we promise we'll get to that also.

If we start sneaking in here every time she takes one of her catnaps (we'd like to show her what we think of that, what's she doing napping when our blog is so neglected???), maybe we can get caught up on stuff without her help. What do we need her for anyway, except making sure we don't run out of meaty bones or treats? (and we've still got the dad to help out there, so.....come on, what should her punishment be?)

OK, just the most important business for now, we'll get to the other stuff soon, but matters of the heart must take precedence! It has recently come to our attention that we've been so neglected, that we're now in danger of being jilted by our loved ones! We know it's not their fault, they must think we've forgotten all about them, but please rest assured, that is NOT the case!
We heard a nasty rumor that the Jack-of-Hearts has been flirting with a beautiful little masked grrrl from Seattle even though she has a new boyfriend, and poor Mikki is just beside herself. And Cracker's love, Shelby-woo is considering throwing him over for a human man from Germany, shudder! We haven't heard a peep about Quincy, but he & Bama are still in the "starry-eyed, can't sleep without dreaming of you" phase, so hopefully that relationship is ok, though if the mom keeps neglecting us, there's no telling for how long.
But by far, the absolute worst, is that she hasn't let me respond to all the replies to Bama's last post when she put up my lonely-hearts ad! If I wasn't such a good boy, I'd bite her for being so rude to all those lovely ladies!! I'm truly humbled and honored by all the responses I got, but I have to admit, one special girl really made my heart go pitty-pat, she has such a great sense of humor, and sounds like she likes all the same stuff I do. So, though it saddens me to disappoint any of the beawoootiful girls that replied.....

I'd like to ask the gorgeous, wonderful, funny, gentle Dakota if she will be my special girl. I promise to be faithful, true, and cuddly for as long as you'll have me, and I sincerely apologize for taking so long to ask you formally. Dakota, will you accept my paw in puppy-love?

Woowooo. I'm so excited everypuppy (and kitties)!

I know we've gotta claw the mom to get up pics of our den now that it's almost all done, but that's gonna have to wait til the next post.

Chili & I have been clawing mom to put up a post like Juneau's, cause Mikki & Cracker both have love interests, and we didn't. But look here! I've got a boyfriend!! And he's SO handsome, swoon! Mikki has been teasing me cause she has a boyfriend and I didn't, she said I was too big, & loud, & brassy for anyboy to like me, but she was WRONG. I guess that's how big sisters treat "little" sisters, but I was really starting to worry that noboy was ever gonna like me. So.....now I have a boyfriend too, I'm making it my mission to find a grrrl for Chili. Here is his "personal ad".

Short, slightly chubby but very fluffy and cuddly 4 year old boydog with lovely pale blue eyes, seeking fluffy lady sibe for long distance relationship. Howroo, everypup, kitty, birdy & your "peeps",

We know we promised our SMS pals some pictures of the house now that the floors are done, but mama's still working on the finishing touches, painting baseboards & trim, cleaning & sealing floors, etc, and they haven't moved any of the furniture back yet (our refrigerator is still plugged in the living room, for dog's sake!) So we decided since we can't show you pics of the house yet, that we would post these teaser pics. Mama came across some really cool husky prints on ebay a while back, and daddy told her she could buy them as long as she got them framed and hung, not just stuck in a closet somewhere for "someday". After they got our bedroom all put back together, she figured out that she had to move some pictures around because they just didn't work where they were anymore, and it left the wall above our bed with a huge blank space, so as soon as they were delivered she took them all to Michaels Crafts, and got really lucky, they were having a huge frame sale, 60% off custom frames, and 50% of stock frames, so she got them all framed to match. Somehow the guy that was helping her with her order got confused and ordered one too many custom frames. She had a beautiful picture of an angel that a friend had drawn for her & daddy as a housewarming gift, so she talked the nice people at Michaels into exchanging the extra unneeded frame, for one that would fit the angel. So without further ado, here are the teasers, sorry SMS'ers, mom says y'all will just have to wait until she can get everything clean again, and all the furniture put back, then we'll do a post so you can see the new floors and how our den looks, she's been working all day and into the night to try and get stuff done so we can get back to normal.

Here are some close ups, the first one is titled The Big Chill, by an artist in England named Vic Bearcroft, daddy was having a hard time getting good pics because of the glare from the overhead light, or from the camera flash, so the pics look kind of dark:

This next one is called Chasing the Dream, also by Vic, sorry for the glare off the flash, it's a really dark picture and that was the only way dad could capture the details:

This next one is also by Vic, it's called The Usual Suspects and it is mama's favorite; look everybody, doesn't it look like us?

The next one is by a lady named Paula Zan, this one is titled "The Joy of Song". We got 6 prints by this artist, but daddy didn't take pictures of all of them. But in the first picture showing the group, they are from the top and left to right, Anticipation, Couch Dreams, So Relaxed, Happy Face, & The Joy of Song.

These next two just didn't fit into the grouping, so they are hanging on the wall where daddy's dresser is. This first one is also by Vic Bearcroft, it is titled "White Husky", mama thought it looked an awful lot like me, except for the blue eyes!

The last one is by Paula Zan, titled "Team Leader"

Finally, last but definitely not least, the wife of the guy that always worked on mom & dad's motorcycles, when they used to ride, is a fantastic artist named Barbara McDonald. One year she gave different angels to a lot of their friends, and it just happened to coincide with mom & dad's housewarming, so here is a picture of the beautiful angel she drew just for them. I don't know if you can see all the details, but she's wearing a very intricate lace apron, up close the detail that went into this drawing would amaze you. When you enter our hallway back to our bedrooms, this picture is hanging at the other end, so you can see it all the way down the hall. Isn't she beautiful?

We're closing with a picture daddy took of Cracker last weekend, cause we think it's so funny! This is our picture of Cracker gurning. If you don't know what a gurn is, do a google search, we thought mama had the best gurn in the house until we saw Cracker's, he's giving mom a run for her money!

Ongoing Home Destruction

Howroo everypup & kitty,
Some of our SMS buddies have been asking for some pictures of the destruction going on in our house. So, even though it's not done yet (we are getting close) we decided to give you a little taste.
Look who came to see us. It's A. Drill and his buddy A. Screwgun! They helped our tile guy secure the concrete backer board before the tile started going in. Those guys sure have been getting around lately. Wonder where they're going when they leave Florie-duh.









Next is a picture of Mikki Saying "hi" to A.Drill . That is Cracker's tail in the bottom of the picture, he's introducing himself to A. Screwgun.









Here is a close up of the new tile that is going in, it's called "Canyon Slate" Mama picked a dark gray grout cause she said we make it really hard to keep the grout clean, so now she won't be able to see how dirty we get it.









Here is Cracker checking the new floor, he said "Ah jest hadta check ta make shur the lines were straight". The spots on the picture are dust on the camera lens, our mom's not that bad a housekeeper.

We're almost done, all that's left is the kitchen & laundry room, mom & dad pulled up the last of the old tile yesterday. We'll post some more pics after everything is done and we can put our furniture back where it belongs. The tile is nice and cool, but sometimes a puppy wants to nap on their couch, we're just ready to have our old den back, with all our furniture back where it belongs.

While mom was pulling out tile yesterday she had her Ipod and was singing along. Mama can't carry a tune in a bucket, but Cracker and I both love her singing, Cracker came over and nose bumped her, which is his way of giving a kiss, then I went over and pushed her down in the corner and held her down while I gave her many sloppy wet kisses to tell her how much I loved her singing. Daddy said he thinks maybe we thought she was hurt and crying and we were trying to make her feel better, but we just love it when she sings.

Home Destruction continues...

Thank woo all so much! We'd like to share this award with all of our blogging friends that haven't already received it, each and every one of woo makes our day brighter, and helps us to feel better when times get tough. Thank woo, each and every one of woo!

Next we'd like to reassure our good friend Pippa, yes we are all okay, but due to the ongoing destruction in our house, our computer was out of commission all last week. We finally got it back up and running again yesterday. Something goofy happened to our modem when mama disconnected it and when we got it all hooked back up we couldn't get online. So the nice people at AT&T sent out a tech-guy who hooked us up with a new modem, now we should be good to go. After he left mom spent most of the day putting the rest of our office back together, then she and the Boogieboy went shopping. She had promised to get him memory cards for his new digital camera & his new Playstation he got for Christmas. When they got home he wanted to play with his Webkinz Siberian Husky, HotRod, online, so mom really hasn't had a chance to get in here and get a post up for us until today. It seems that the worst is behind us, at least we're able to spend time with him on the weekends, and will have him again all of next weekend, as the dad is in charge of booking & scheduling bands to play at a music festival going on at our Metropolitan Park next weekend.

Finally the back half of our house is done, the bedrooms, bathrooms & office are back to normal, but the front half of our house is a mess! Our tile guy is gonna start in our family room tomorrow, so mom & dad moved out all the furniture today. We like having the big open space to play in, but our couch, loveseat & chair are all gone! We don't know where we're going to sleep & lounge!

Daddy still hasn't had an opportunity to get on the 'puter, so we still haven't got any new pics uploaded, but promise we will have in time for our next post. In the meantime, we have to tell you about our new Husky Pawty Room & Hangout! In our last post we told woo that mom had a project going on in our sunroom. Well...she was concerned that we couldn't be left out there unsupervised cause somepuppy figured out that they could go through the screens very easily, and if they went through into the sideyard they could then dig under the fence and escape. So in the middle of the tile job she got our handman guy to build us some cool louvred panels to fit into each screened section. She had 3 stained glass windows that hung out there, and he built 3 of the panels with openings in the middle so the windows could be mounted and secured. These only come up about halfway in the screened sections, but are now too high for anypuppy to rip out the screen & escape. Then they replaced our rickety screen door with a new steel mesh security door, and voila!, we have a beawootiful, secure & husky proofed room to hang out in, that has a cool tile floor & ceiling fan to keep us comfy in all kinds of weather. Some of you pups might remember the post of the mosaic sun that Chili helped mom design for the floor out there, that's always been our favorite room, but now we can hang out and pawty without having to have the skinslaves present to spoil our fun. We can't wait to show woo all the pictures of our pawty room, if any of woo pups are ever in Jax, FL, woo're all welcome to come hang out & pawty with us! Mama says we have to share with her, cause it's her favorite room in the house too, but so far we haven't had to share much, she doesn't get much time to just go out there & relax, except maybe with the occasional glass of adult grape juice late at night. She said that after all the destruction is complete she & dad might have some friends over to cook out & play cards out there, we suppose we can share for that, as long as we get some of the tasty stuff off the grill!

Next we want to thank all our friends who've donated to the wolfies, and who've put links on their pages to the donation site. Mama talked to Jacqueline on Friday, she is a very cool & caring lady who is extremely knowledgable about lots of stuff about wolves & medical care, mama says she deserves all the help we can give her. We just wish we didn't live so far away from Colorado so we could help her more, and get to know our ancestors! She said she has lots of very cool, one-of-a-kind wolfie stuff that can be sold to raise money, so mama is going to try to find out how to post the stuff on ebay to be auctioned off, more news to come about that as soon as mama figures out how to go about it, so keep checking back for more news. We'll be posting pictures & links as soon as we can get it all set up for her.

Finally, we just learned about the sad loss of Durango, his poor mama, Marilyn has had such bad luck & sad times with her pups in the last year, losing Dakota last spring, Thrawn right before Christmas, and now her beawootiful new baby Durango. Please go to their page, at:

Nobody should have to go through the losses she has in such a short time, and nobody is more caring or loving to her pups than she is, our hearts are breaking for her, and for her pack, but we're sure it helps her to know how many pups and skinslaves are out there sending love and caring about her and her babies. Little Durango, run free, North of the Rainbow Bridge, wear your silver harness with pride, and know that all the blogging doggies & their humans are sending their love to woo & wour pack, woo stole our hearts in the short time we had to get to know woo.

Well, guess we better let mama get back to the home destruction duties, we still have some old tile in the kitchen & laundry room that needs to be removed before the new tile can go in, it can't be soon enough for us. Mama says with all the dust that's been stirred up removing old tile & grouting the new tile that she can't even find the furniture under the thick coating of grime on everything, she's even more ready than we are to have this done & behind us so she can get our den cleaned and dusted, and back to normal!

Thank DOG 2007 is Behind Us!

Okay, first for an update, and much needed thank you's.
Daddy bid his final farewell to his mom, and is back home now, though we hated having to say goodbye, we know that she's finally at peace in the arms of the lord, and is watching over us. We can think of no better soul to be our guardian angel, she was truly an inspiration and provided mom with much insight into being a better mom and grandmother, her wisdom & grace provided a roll model that will never be forgotten. She was truly a "Steel Magnolia".

Now for the BoogieBoy update. First, huge thanks to all those out there sending Sibe Vibes our way, your prayers and kind thoughts were a huge help to mama, and the power of the Sibe Vibes should never be questioned, our situation is living proof that they work! Our skin-sister Sam & her 3 kids stayed here with mama while daddy was taking care of business in AL, she is Boogies natural mother. She's stayed out of the picture so far because as she said "I know that he spends almost every weeekend with you, and this is the best place for him". However, due to the recent events and worries, she has decided to get back involved, and is in the process of getting the case back into court in front of a judge to try to have visitation and custody modified so she'll have some say so into his care and decisions regarding his education & welfare. Mom has offered to help in any way she can in the meantime but she'll be working behind the scenes so as not to put our contact with him in further jeopardy.

All of your prayers & Vibes have made a world of difference! While Sam was here, she got a call from the dad on Christms night & he wanted to know if she was staying wih us. He told her that she could come pick up the Boogie as long as she stayed here with him. The day after Christmas mama got a text message from the dad asking if she wanted to keep him for a few extra days, of course mama jumped on the chance. Our Boogie was here through Sunday, and we all had a wonderful time with him. He loves the new tile and rearranged furniture in his room, somehow he gained extra space, and his room looks much bigger, not to mention cleaner! Mom had a long talk with the dad, and he complained about feeling "betrayed", and "pressured into putting him into a different school", so decided to remind us who is boss. Our mama isn't very good at butt-kissing, but we're very proud of her, she's putting forth a really good effort, and in the meantime supporting Sam in every way possible in her endeavors to get the court to pay attention when nobody else has seemed to care or see anything wrong with his situation. In the meantime she's on her best behavior with the dad, and doing everything possible to insure that we stay a part of his life so we can continue to monitor and be informed of what is going on with him.


Next item we need to tell y'all about is a non-profit organization that mom has volunteered to help out on. She's going to be helping to ghost write a blog for them, and it will be easily accessible from our page. Please look on the right sidebar for a link to the CareAgain wolves, under the "Organizations we Support" list, go check out their website and while you're there make a donation if you can. Or you can click on the badge above to take you directly to the donation site. The angel-lady that is in charge of caring for them, feeding & providing them with a natural setting where they can be safe & protected, and battling against those who "dont want them in my neighborhood", has been really struggling to get a fence built around their new home , 10,000 acres of beautiful natural land backing up to a wildlife preserve. This wonderful lady has struggled endlessly to provide "her" pack with as close to a natural setting as possible so they can just be wolves. If anyone out there is in Colorado and has time to volunteer to help on the fence, we know it would be more appreciated than you can imagine, poor Jacqueline is working herself ragged 16-18 hours per day just trying to keep up with the wolves needs & single-handedly get the fence built. If you can donate a few dollars to the cause, they have 501c3 status, and all donations are tax-deductible. We're also welcoming any suggestions if anyone has any thoughts on other organizations or groups that might be willing to lend a helping hand. Please feel free to include a link on your pages, or to copy the badge above to send folks to the donation site. Mama says it's very important for us to care for and support our ancestors, they've helped to make us who we are, so please help spread the word!

Finally, our tile guy is ready to start on our office this week, so we're going to be losing our computer access for a few days, probably starting Thursday or so. but we promise as soon as we're up and running again, we'll get back into the swing, we've got lots of new pics to share with everypup. For now though we've got to go, mom's gotta get some sleep, so she can start moving furniture and finish a project that is going on in our sunroom right now. We can't wait to show you the pics of everything that has been going on 'round here. and our visits from A. Drill, A. Saw, and A. Sander, just to mention a few.
